The Public Passenger Transport System by Buses

The Public Passenger Transport System by Buses was inaugurated on 5 July 2010. A qualitatively upgraded, modern, efficient, and affordable system, through which OSEA aspires to offer the best possible service to all social groups, including individuals with special needs and reduced mobility, university and school students, soldiers, the elderly, workers, visitors, and generally to everyone traveling by bus within its geographical area of responsibility!

Bus Tickets

Click on the title to view information regarding all available ticket types, prices, the points of sale for each ticket and the regulations and prices for free transport and 50% discount beneficiaries, school pupils and university students

Motion Card TopUp

Click on the title to top up your card online through the JCC Smart platform. The card is activated 24–48 hours after the online top-up. The traveling public is urged to top up 48 hours before traveling. Before purchasing 1-30 day period tickets (excluding 7 and 30 day Pancyprian / All Cyprus Tickets), cards that have not been used before on OSEA buses must be activated at the offices of OSEA in Paralimni before they are topped up online

A few words about OSEA

The Famagusta District Transportation Organization (OSEA) was founded in 2009. It has signed a Contract for the Concession of Public Passenger Transport Service with the contracting Authority, the Department of Road Transport of Cyprus, for the purpose of performing public passenger transport by buses. OSEA operates all bus routes within the non-occupied Famagusta District, including the communities of Xylofagou, Xylotymbou and Ormideia, as well as bus routes from the non-occupied Famagusta District to Larnaca and from Larnaca to the non-occupied Famagusta District.
